"I left the retreat with a feeling of pure wonder."

- Tori, Chicago

"I left the retreat with a feeling of pure wonder for the world around me which is more than I could of ever asked for. I also found a deep love and acceptance of my inner self. I feel empowered, uplifted, revived, safe, connected, inspired and… really, really grateful. The writing circles were so powerful for me. There is a circle of women I’m now woven into. I really can’t put into words how beautiful it was to hear all of their stories, to witness them rewrite that story and for them to hear me with the same amount of presence. I didn’t realize how much my soul was craving the connection of women. Aimee is a love and a light, and I couldn't imagine going on this journey with anyone else as our guide. From the moment we gathered, Aimee was incredibly graceful in the way she held the space for our group - in the way she handled all of our emotions and the outpour of energy. I always felt really safe sharing what I was feeling that day or that moment. I felt completely accepted. I felt heard and seen. Not only did she support us throughout our work in the circles but she arranged everything from guides into town, gave us advice on where to shop/eat/explore and kept us grounded and organized. With everything that we were moving through with pen, paper and our hearts – the movement of yoga was a really beautiful compliment. It allowed space to release, to stretch and open up for the day ahead. But, my favorite was the dance - some of my deepest messages were delivered during those moments. Still get goosebumps thinking about it! I am still in awe that I was able to experience the Yoga Forest… the volcanoes, the lake, the trees and landscape, it is a dream come true. Meals were always thoughtful and full of love. The Mayan Fire Ceremony was such a beautiful learning experience. I’ve left with friendship, my voice, a clear understanding of my mission and a heart full of love. Take the next step and go. It is one of the most profound journeys - to join with a group of women and express yourself in a such sacred space."
