At the Awaken Your Creative Soul Women’s Retreat Weekend (upcoming Sept 20-22, 2019), Marianne Richmond asked us to paint a circle with particular layers of meaning when it comes to our relationship with self and creativity. At the core we put what we held most true. I painted this. And my circle - while it had a center, did not have a perimeter, did not have an ultimate edge, or a fixed form. Maybe that’s because Love chose to be at the center. Or maybe it’s my experience of circles. Or my experience that love is at the center of circles. This is how I’ve lived our retreat gatherings. This is what I feel from watching the nurturance and far reach of all the beautiful, inspiring women who have co-created these retreat spaces. A circle, centered in love, radiates out and magnifies. A circle of women is love magnified, love that expands within us and far beyond us. Love that radiates. Happy Love Day. Every day. You are such a beautiful embodiment of Love. ♥️
