Forget about 'being enough.'

ree

Dear loves,

I frequently share what's at the tip of my heart and tongue through little video posts. And it's going to dial up.

So if you don't also follow Storyteller Within on Instagram, please join me there. It would delight me to see you!

So lately, I love-ranted about this whole theme of enoughness. I'm often noticing how the very "tools" we create to free us can lead into their own entrapping loop.

So here we go...

Sometimes we create affirmative beliefs to counter our deficit-oriented mind.

As a counter to the "not being enough" lie, it's common to say "I am enough."

As a counter to the "not worthy" lie, it's common to affirm "I am worthy."

That's an understandable step we have created, and it can be incrementally useful in relaxing into the body more.

But also, let's get REAL and step more into our power.

In a way, this whole approach traps you in a closed circuit of advocating for yourself.

I want you clear of that circuit, entirely.

Lately, when I hear someone say "I am enough." I want to say enough for what? Enough of what? Enough for whom?

You could never NOT be enough. The entire notion of enoughness is a myth. Therefore the idea that you are enough is also a myth.

With all due respect, F*CK ENOUGH.

You are unquantifiable! Your essence is immeasurable!

There is no quantity of you! So there is no right quantity of you (or anything) for you to EVER be. There is simply YOU.

You could never NOT be worthy, as that entire notion of worthiness is also a construct.

What is the worth of a rose?

Or the worth of a kitten?

What is the worth of a grasshopper?

A lightning bug?

Worth is a manmade invention. Worth is an artificial scale, and YOU don't belong anywhere on it. What you inherently are is beyond any measure or concept of value.

What YOU are exists beyond your most favorable belief.

Please, take yourself right out of the language of measuring or subjective evaluation. It has nothing to do with you. It could not BEGIN to even touch who you really are.

Frankly, it's time we stop negotiating with nonsense when it comes to our being.

When we do, we are still caught in mis-identification. Incremental but not energetically transformational.

Life is given to you. It is not earned or merited. All life asks is for you to be alive as the being YOU are. Just be you. That is what you're here for.

With love and reverence,

Aimee
